Experience the grandeur of the north and south rim Grand Canyon National Park ecosystem on this "classic hike".
We journey from 8000 feet at the north, to the bottom and back up to the south rim which is 7000 feet. In the process seeing a wide range of ecosystems and a wonderful variety of exceptional views.
You will cross the roaring Colorado River on an extension bridge adjacent to the famous Phantom Ranch built by architect Mary Colter over 70 years ago.
We spend our last night at Indian Gardens halfway up the south rim, where a large artesian spring gushes from the canyon wall.
It's a great accomplishment to stand on the Grand Canyon rim after your adventure with us, to look out over the chasm, and say "I did it"!
