A Rim to Rim is the quintessential hike at Grand Canyon National Park. There is no better way to explore what Grand Canyon has to offer than to walk across it! This trip begins in the cool pines of the North Rim on the North Kaibab Trail. We descend 7 miles on day one to Cottonwood Campground along Bright Angel Creek and make camp for the night. On day two, we walk 7 miles to historic Phantom Ranch and Bright Angel Campground, stopping to cool off in the crystal clear creek that follows us the entire way. A side visit to the beautiful Ribbon Falls is a must! There are many day hikes to be done while near Phantom Ranch, or you may relax in the shade with an ice cold lemonade from the Phantom Canteen. On day three we begin our ascent on the Canyon's most famous and popular trail, the Bright Angel Trail. Crossing the mighty Colorado Rover via suspension bridge, we will walk 5 miles to Indian Garden Campground for our final night of the journey. A sunset dinner at Plateau Point is a spectacular finale to this amazing adventure! On the fourth and final day, we will walk to remaining 4.5 miles to the Bright Angel Trailhead, and victory!!
Our Rim to Rim hike is an all inclusive trip. We provide all permits and fees, a certified wilderness guide, all gear, all meals and snacks, and transportation to and from Flagstaff, Arizona.
